Christmas 2011

We had such a great Christmas this year! We're so glad Uncle Andrew was here to see what Santa brought! The kids had a great time playing with all their new toys and enjoying the company of family! We had a very relaxing day sitting by the fire and just hanging out together!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! My dad and Lea came as well as Uncle Kevin and Aunt Ellen! Nicholas had a great time playing with everyone, and was sad when they were gone. Anna just cries if anyone is holding her but me....that's why she's crying in that picture!

Evansville

Just a few pictures of our trip to Evansville! We had a great time at Patrick and Anne's wedding! Had a little trouble getting home but overall Anna had a great "1st" plane ride!

Anna's such a ham lately and loves having her picture taken! So cute!
Nicholas finally smiled for a picture without looking the other direction too....maybe we'll actually get a good Christmas card this year! Fingers crossed!

Halloween Parade 2011

So we won a ribbon at the Stratford Pumpkin Festival last year for the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes! We were determined to win again. It all started with a pair of ruby slippers!

Anna is 1!

We had a great birthday party for Anna this weekend! It was an apple theme and she wore her little apple skirt I made her. We had beautiful weather and she clapped when we sang to her! I can't believe she's 1 already...time flies!

Happy Birthday Little Girl!

I can't believe our little girl is 1! She has gone from a sweet, sleepy baby to a sweet, silly girl in one short year! We love you Anna Marie!

Apple Picking

We had the most beautiful day for apple picking today! Joe has a long weekend so we took Anna on her first apple picking trip. Of course she liked it and Nicholas kept giving her fresh apples to snack on! Here are some pictures from the day...enjoy!

First Day of Preschool!

Nicholas did so well on his first day of school! I dropped him off and he didn't even look back for me. It was harder on me than him! He told the teacher that he didn't want to leave!

Newport, RI!

We took our annual trip to Newport, RI yesterday! It was absolutely beautiful there.
Nicholas flew his kite and we had a picnic by the ocean! We also stopped for fried seafood on the way home!

Happy 3rd Birthday Nicholas!

Nicholas had a great 3rd birthday! He had a Lightning McQueen cake that Auntie made and had a great time playing with his friends. He love the snow cone machine we rented and his arms and belly are still stained red from them! When it was time to sing "happy birthday" he sang along for the whole thing!

We had an amazing time on our two week trip to Evansville! These are just a few of the pictures! Anna fell asleep in a raft at the pool! So cute!
We went to St. Louis for the 4th of July and spent time with the whole gang there! Then we ended our trip with Uncle Kevin's wedding to Ellen!
