Day Out with Thomas

We had a great day yesterday at the "Day Out with Thomas". We rode Thomas the train and Nicholas went on some rides. He had a great time but he is still talking about how he was afraid of Sir Toppam Hat. They had the Sir Toppam Hat character to take pictures with. He was very scared....I can't blame him because he WAS slightly scary! Here are some pictures of our day!

Visit with Grammy!

We had a great visit with Grammy this week. It was so nice to have her here and we're so glad the Nicholas and Anna were able to spend time with her! We didn't want her to leave, but we know she can't stay forever....too bad!!

Just thought I'd share these cute pictures! It's finally warming up here a little bit so I've been able to put some cute Spring clothes on Anna that have been waiting in the closet!

Fun Weekend!

We really enjoyed this past weekend. Nicholas and Anna went to their first hockey game! John played after the first quarter and we all went to watch! Nicholas was a little scared of the Sound Tiger and the lights going out for awhile! Anna didn't know to be scared, but her eyes were wide the whole time! We also had great weather last weekend...to bad it didn't last! We're supposed to have snow tomorrow. Ugh! We're really, really ready for Spring!

I just wanted to update the blog with some more pictures. I have been "crafting" and made these two shirts for Nicholas. When I say made, I mean that I took a t-shirt and "dressed" it up. I didn't sew the actual shirt. I'm having a hard time getting a good picture of Nicholas. When I tell him to smile he closes his eyes.
Anna on the other hand is one photogenic little girl!
