We had a very Merry Christmas! Santa was very good to Nicholas and Anna. They got lots of fun new toys. Nicholas was especially excited that Santa ate the cookies we left for him and that the reindeer ate the carrot! We had a relaxing day at home and then on Sunday it snowed a lot! We had over a foot of snow. It was hard to tell exactly how much we had since it was blowing everywhere. We were afraid we were going to loose power and the wreaths on the front of the house were blowing around in circles! We have since shoveled out though! Here are some pictures!
Anna is 2 months old! I can't believe how fast the past few months have gone and how big she is already! She's actually 10 weeks today but we just had her 2 month check up last Friday. She is 10 lbs. 14 oz. and 23.5 inches! So big!
We had a great time this weekend getting our Christmas tree. It was very cold so we had to find one quickly. We were still able to get a fat one cut down and carried back to the car without Nicholas and Anna freezing! Here are some pictures to enjoy...plus one of our little "Santa Claus"!
Anna has started smiling...it's so cute! Here are a few pictures from a photo session we had today in this cute outfit! All that modeling made her tired!
We had a wonderful Hallween weekend! Nicholas and Joe carved a pumpkin. This was our 2nd pumpkin...the squirrels ate the first one we bought. Nicholas, John, and Paul all went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and had a great time. Their costumes were a hit thanks to Gina! Anna wore her Hallween dress and stayed home with Papa to hand out candy! Nicholas liked the candy but I'm happy to report that he forgot about it. He didn't ask for it once today! I was worried he was going to want it all day long!
I already feel behind posting pictures of Anna. We're taking them...I just haven't had the time to put them online. I now know why the 2nd child doesn't have as many pictures as the first. I guess that's just the way it goes. Here is a picture of Anna's first bath. Nicholas was really good at pouring water on her. And one of Nicholas and Anna in some Halloween gear!
Nicholas and Joe went to a pancake breakfast at the firehouse this morning! They had a great time "driving" the firetruck and ate lots of pancakes and sausage! He got his own hat and badge!
We are so happy to welcome our little girl to the family! Anna Marie is here weighing in at 6 lbs. 11 oz. and 20 1/4 inches long! She is absolutely beautiful and came out screaming! Nicholas loves his little sister and is going to be a great big brother!
We had a great day on Thursday with John at the apple orchard. We actually ended up picking peaches and raspberries too since most of the apples weren't ready yet! The boys loved tasting the peaches and apples as we picked them. They ate a lot of fruit!
Uncle Andrew visited us this past weekend and we had a great time! Nicholas loved having someone new to play with all day and by the time Andrew left, Nicholas thought he was living with us! We loved having Andrew visit and wish he lived closer!
Nicholas has been out of his crib and sleeping in a big bed for about 2 weeks now! He is doing great and loves it. He calls it his "boy" bed. He calls us to come get him every morning when he wakes up and hasn't realized yet that he can get out by himself. Here are some pictures!
